The Euro-Regional
Association for Comparative Public Law and European Union Law
wants to promote academic cross-border co-operation in the fields of
comparative public law and European Union Law within the
“Euroregion” of South Tyrol, Tyrol and Trentino. The Association,
established under Italian law in Trento on 14 February 2004,
offers a forum of discussion and co-operation among scholars and
practitioners of this area. Among its members there are not only
professors and researchers from the Law Faculties of the
Universities of Innsbruck, Trento and Verona as well as the European
Academy Bozen/Bolzano, but also qualified practitioners from the
regional and provincial public administration. Co-operation
particularly encompasses academic conferences and publications. In
2008, the Association will focus on joint research projects (electoral
law reform, strategic spatial planning).
